The Haudenosaunee Filmmakers Festival is the premier showcase and network for Haudenosaunee film writers, directors, producers and actors. We connect Haudenosaunee filmmakers with resources and opportunities to screen their films, network with Indigenous filmmakers and industry leaders and collaborate across the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. Haudenosaunee filmmakers at any stage: emerging or established are encouraged to submit films of any length in the following categories:

  • New Films (less than 2 years)
  • Classic Films (older than 2 years)
  • Women Filmmakers
  • Animation Films
  • Youth Films

Haudenosaunee filmmakers of all ages and genres are encouraged to submit their work here: https://forms.gle/p3PQDeQxh3CYp8bW6. Submissions are being accepted until February 21, 2021.

About the Haudenosaunee Filmmakers Festival

The Haudenosaunee Filmmakers Festival is the premier showcase and network for Haudenosaunee film writers, directors, producers and actors. Our Spring 2021 Festival features talent from across the Haudenosaunee Confederacy and is open to the public.

We invite you to join us from April 19 – April 25, for seven days of virtual screenings, workshops, panel discussions and more. Films will be premiered throughout the week and ticket holders will have on demand access to all featured films until May 1.  Workshops and panels will only be available during the festival week, so we encourage you to attend during the official festival week.
