Marion Delaronde

Marion Delaronde (Mohawk) from Kahnawake produces a children’s television show entirely in the Mohawk language, which has been broadcast on public access television for over a decade. The show’s mission is to promote and preserve her people’s language, there are less than 200 speakers left from her community. Marion believes a lot of problems can be solved with puppets and art.
